Very big thanks to everyone who came out and supported Finding Friday at The Bourbon last weekend. The show was a great success, and we appreciate everyone representing on the dance floor! A special thanks to our opening band, Splitting Adam, for their inspiring performance.
Finding Friday will be returning with full force in 2009 with a show at BCIT on January 16th - details to come. As well, our next album is 50% complete and will be ready by spring for us to play across BC and beyond.

Media Club Show - November 1st
Finding Friday just completed recording of three new tracks and are ready to play them for you along with a full set of party and dance originals. They will be playing on November 1st with Blaming Taylor and two other local bands.

Acoustic Set @ Browns West Van
On Saturday, October 11th, Austin and Steve T of FF played a great acoustic show at Browns Restaurant in Park Royal. They delivered cover songs from the likes of John Mayer and Dave Matthews Band. Patrons had a great time listening to the duo, and watching the Canucks take on the Flames! Browns is hoping to make their set a permanent fixture of their restaurant - so stay tuned for the next show!

Long awaited Update
Hello Everyone,
We just wanted to let you know what we have been up to in the past little while.
This summer we have been writing, writing, writing in order to prepare for recording this month and we have narrowed our song list down to a few songs. We will be hitting the studio on October 20th to lay 'em down and get them ready for your ears. In addition, we have completed a music video for our song called Dancing Shoes which we recorded earlier this year. We will be releasing all of this media early in the new year and are sure that you will like what you hear.
Finding Friday also played a couple of benefit shows this summer as well including Light the Night which is hosted by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC). It was a great success and it was good to be a part of something that makes a difference.
We also joined our friends out in Lion's Bay, The Fire Department, for the second year in a row for their annual fund raiser which generated funds for a 911 related cause.
The only thing we haven't done recently is play a kick ass show in a Vancouver party venue. We are working on getting a date after our recording, and before the end of the year, which may be hard to do. If we can swing it, we will get the word out there and let you know.
